Myriad Joins Swift Chat to Explore the Future of AI Search for Advisors

November 2025

We were recently featured in a Swift Chat with Impact Communications, where our own Paul Gilbert joined Shawna Ohm of Content 151 to talk through what it really takes for independent advisors to stand out in today’s evolving digital landscape, especially as AI continues to reshape how prospects search, evaluate, and engage.

A consistent theme throughout the conversation was a return to fundamentals. In an industry that’s constantly chasing new tools and trends, the advisors seeing the most success are the ones who start with clarity, defining their niche, ideal client, and long-term vision, then building everything else around that foundation. From branding to tech stacks to marketing strategy, alignment matters more than ever.

We also emphasized something we see often: advisors trying to do everything themselves. Whether it’s branding, content, or technology decisions, the DIY approach can quickly lead to inefficiencies, or worse, costly missteps. Just as advisors guide their own clients to lean on expertise, the same principle applies when building and scaling a business. The right partners allow advisors to stay focused on what they do best while creating a more cohesive, scalable growth strategy.

Of course, AI was a major part of the discussion, but not in the way many might expect. While AI can absolutely enhance efficiency, it’s not a replacement for strategy or authenticity. In fact, as search continues to evolve, original, niche-focused content and a strong digital presence are becoming even more critical. Advisors who invest in owned, on-brand content, rather than relying on generic or automated outputs, are the ones who will ultimately stand out and build trust with their audience.

At the end of the day, it’s not about chasing every new tactic or platform. It’s about building a consistent, intentional marketing engine rooted in who you serve and how you deliver value, then showing up with that message across every channel.
